Tickets On Sale For LORA Tastes For Tomorrow Event March 8th

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - You can enjoy delicious local food for a good cause next month.

The Local Owner Restaurant Association (LORA) is holding their annual Tastes For Tomorrow event at the Fountains Wedding and Conference Center on March 8th at 6:00 PM.

Participants will get to try international food from 16 different restaurants for two hours, along with a live and silent auction, and a wide variety of international music.

"You get to mosey around, try the international food, and one of the nice things is that all of the restaurants are locally owned restaurants, not chain restaurants," says Stewart Davis, owner of Flannery's in Fruitland.

Proceeds will go to scholarships for graduating seniors that are heading into the culinary hospitality field.

"We've given up to 5,000 dollars in a year and we'd like to continue that," says Davis.

Tickets are $50 each or $95 per couple, and are on sale at any LORA restaurant. If you are interested, you can also e-mail info@lorarestaurants.org.
