DOVER, Del. - New details are emerging in the drug-evidence tampering case in Delaware.
According to the Department of Justice, 21 defendants have been informed there's been possible tampering with their cases.
The state is preparing to file a formal motion with state judges after prosecutors asked to suspend cases for two months while state police investigates the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner's.
As of Wednesday morning, no drug-related trials have taken place this week. Several cases were delayed and each trial is being looked at on a case-by-case basis.
