CAMBRIDGE, Md. - A Cambridge man was arrested in connection with a drug investigation in Dorchester County.

The Cambridge Police Department Special Operations Division and Emergency Response Team says they searched two homes in connection with a drug distribution investigation. Those two Cambridge homes, one on Rainbow Avenue, and another on Dobson Street, apparently contained a total of 458 grams of crack cocaine, a stolen handgun, $700 in cash, and a small amount of cash.

Police say the estimated street value of the "crack" cocaine is $90,000.

The investigation reportedly lead to the arrest of 36-year-old Tyrone Anderson, who was then charged with drug kingpin, possession of cocaine in large amounts, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm in drug trafficking crime, maintaining a common nuisance for drug distribution, other lesser weapons and drug charges.

Anderson was refused bond, and is being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center.
