WORCESTER CO, Md. - A Pocomoke man was arrested on Sunday, after Police say they found drugs during a traffic stop.
The Worcester County Sheriff's Office says a Deputy stopped a vehicle on Millville Road, just before 1:00 AM, for a headlight being out. The Deputy reportedly smelled marijuana, so they searched the vehicle, and apparently found a bag of marijuana.
According to the report, the backseat passenger, 22-year-old Adam Miller, admitted to being the owner of the bag, and said he had also eaten a cigar containing marijuana before the Deputy searched the car.
The Deputy said as they were attempting to arrest Miller, there was a brief struggle before he was successfully arrested. During the arrest, Police say they found a smoking device on Miller.
He was then charged with possession of marijuana - 10 grams or more, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, along with obstructing and hindering.
