OCPD Investigates String Of Flat Screen TV Thefts

Posted: Updated:

OCEAN CITY, Md. - A rash of burglaries has apparently hit Ocean City.  According to OCPD, several flat screen TV's have been stolen from residences between 120th street and the Delaware line.

Officials say the apparent burglaries have been reported at both vacant and occupied homes and condos.

When looking for signs that someone might've broken into your home, ocean city police say don't only focus on the obvious.

"Don't just look for a busted window or a busted door or something like that.  Look for a door that you thought you left locked but now it's not locked, or a window that's been cracked," says Linday O'Neal, spokesperson for OCPD

If you've noticed any of these signs or have information on the reported burglaries, contact Ocean City Police's 24 hour tip line at 410-520-5136.
