UPDATE: Wicomico Co. Man Convicted Of Attempted Murder

SALISBURY, Md. - A jury has convicted a Wicomico County man on attempted murder charges, stemming from a May 2013 incident.

On Wednesday, 43-year-old Brian Hensley was convicted of attempted 1st degree murder, attempted 2nd degree murder, 1st degree assault, reckless endangerment, armed robbery, CDS possession - cocaine & marijuana, and CDS paraphernalia.

An investigation by Salisbury and Maryland State Police showed that Hensley attacked an 18-year-old victim with a vodka bottle, while he was asleep, in a house on Ohio Avenue. The victim's skull was fractured during the attack. He also took the victim's wallet, CDS, and cell phones.

Hensley now faces a maximum sentence of excess of life in prison.
