Cambridge Woman Arrested On Drug Charges During Eviction

Posted: Updated:

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - A Cambridge woman is behind bars after Police say they found drugs during an eviction.

The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office says on February 10th, a deputy was executing an eviction on Hayward Street, when the tenant, 32-year-old Tina Clements, was reportedly trying to hide a box under a pillow. The Deputy asked what she was hiding, and she denied having anything, the Deputy made additional requests until she finally removed the pillow, and the Deputy saw a Hypodermic needle sticking out of the box.

Police say inside the box was three metal spoons with white powder residue, 15 used needles, and 75 empty small baggies commonly used to conceal heroin. The Deputy also apparently found 6.1 grams of Marijuana and 5 Methylphenidate pills that Clements didn't have a prescription for.

Clements was arrested, charged with possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of heroin, and possession of Methylphenidate. She is now being held on $10,000 bond.
