UPDATE: Fratelli's Fire Ruled Accidental

SALISBURY, Md. - Authorities have ruled a blaze at Fratelli's Restaurant in Salisbury accidental.

According to reports, the fire broke out Wednesday morning just after 1:45 AM on the 1300 block of Salisbury Boulevard. The two alarm fire took a reported 40 firefighters about 45 minutes to control.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's office says the fire caused $300,000 in damages. Investigators say the fire originated in the kitchen and was caused by a failure of a light fixture.

No injuries were reported.

Fratelli's took to Facebook Wednesday afternoon to update followers on the status on their restaurant.

"Fratelli's of Salisbury will temporary be closed due to a fire," the post read. "We will keep our customers updated through out the process. We thank the community for their support. We look forward to serving the Eastern Shore as soon as possible."

According to their page, the restaurant has been opened for nearly 20 years.
