Traffic Stop In Salisbury Leads To Drug Charges For Two

SALISBURY, Md. - A two Delaware residents have been charged, after Police say they found drugs during a traffic stop in Wicomico County.

Maryland State Police - Salisbury say on Monday morning, around 2:00 AM, a Trooper stopped a Chevy Impala for a traffic violation, on E. Naylor Mill Road, at South Mall Drive. Police say there was a strong odor of burning marijuana coming from the vehicle, so they searched the car, and its occupants.

The driver, 39-year-old Tonia Mosley, of Milford, Delaware and 37-year-old Alex Wise Jr., of Seaford, Delaware were both arrested and charged with possession of approximately 2 grams of cocaine and less than 10 grams of marijuana.

Both were taken to the County Jail and released to the custody of the District Court Commissioner, to await a hearing.
