After Tragedy, Changes In Store For Route 113 In Berlin

BERLIN, Md. - Three months after two teens were struck, and one killed, by a Maryland State Police car in Berlin, the town's Pedestrian Safety Committee says the State has agreed to install a crosswalk at the intersection of Bay Street and Route 113 by mid March.

Another change, the speed limit between Old Ocean City Boulevard and Main Street, along RT 113 will drop from 55 mph to 45 mph, short of the 35 mph.
