Three People Hospitalized After Crash In Caroline County

CAROLINE CO., Md. - Maryland State Police say a crash in Caroline County sent three people to the hospital yesterday.

According to reports, at approximately 5:14 PM, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Henderson Road, South of Temple Road. Police say a black Acura, driven by Gulmaro Honorio Garcia Escalante, 19, of Marydel, MD, was traveling northbound on Henderson Road when he crossed the center line and collided with a silver Toyota, driven by Bernard Andrew Dadds Jr., 50, of Centreville, MD. Police say Escalante was transported to Kent General Hospital for injuries and Dadds, along with a passenger, Branda A. Morris-Dadds, 54, were also transported to Kent General Hospital for injuries.

Police say Escalante faces charges for DUI, Driving without a License, and Failure to Drive Right of Center, but those charges are still pending.
