POTUS Has Landed: Obama Speaks On Eastern Shore

Posted: Updated:

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - It's not everyday that you see President Obama on the Eastern Shore.

POTUS made his way to Dorchester County Friday afternoon to speak with House Democrats about ongoing issues in the nation. The President harped on his State of the Union address saying he wants to create opportunities for every single person.

"We are focused every single day in this town, or in Washington, on making sure that if you're willing to work hard, if you're willing to take responsibility, that you can get ahead," said President Obama. "It doesn't matter where you live, what circumstances you were born into."

The President also spoke on raising the federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10.
