Two Charged On Drug Offences In Dover

DOVER, Del. - Two people have been charged, after Police say they were dealing illegal drugs out of a Dover hotel room.

Delaware State Police say on Thursday, around 4:50 PM, the Kent County Governor's Task Force, along with the Kent County Drug Unit, searched a hotel room at the Best Western on East Lebanon Road, after an investigation reportedly revealed there were drugs being dealt out of it. Two people, 25-year-old Justin Bodman, of Henderson, Maryland and 23-year-old Crystle Kotenko, of Harrington, were arrested on scene.

Inside the room, Police say they found 611 bags of heroin stamped ADIDAS totaling 12.22 grams, two doses of Suboxone, drug paraphernalia, and over $1,200 in suspected drug proceeds. Both Bodman and Kotenko were charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance - heroin, possession of a controlled substance - heroin, 2nd degree conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bodman is being held at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $54,000 bond, while Kotenko is being held at Delores J. Baylor Women's Correctional Institution on $54,000 bond.
