DOVER, Del. - A Camden-Wyoming man has been arrested on drug charges, in Dover.

Delaware State Police say on Thursday, around 1:30 PM, Troopers with the Kent County Governor's Task Force watched a 2006 Buick Lacrosse conduct a traffic infraction on East Lebanon Road, so they stopped him. According to the report, as the driver, 30-year-old Edward Hale, was pulling onto the side of the road, he was seen leaning across the passenger's side of the car, and throwing something out the window.

Police say a search of the area revealed eight small bags of a white substance, stamped with ADIDAS, tied together with a rubber band. The substance was tested, and apparently proved positive for heroin.

Hale was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $8,000 cash bond.
