Posted: Updated:

DOVER, Del. (AP) - About 200 soldiers and airmen with the Delaware National Guard have been helping residents get around during a snowstorm that dumped several inches of snow in the state.

Maj. Gen. Frank Vavala, the adjutant general, said Thursday that guardsmen have patients to the Veterans Administration Hospital for dialysis and medical workers to Christiana Hospital.

The Guard has about 30 vehicles ready for other transportation needs.
