TALBOT CO., Md. - Maryland State Police - Easton say they made several arrests, during an underage tobacco buy investigation in Talbot County.
Police say during the buys at Highs Store, Carroll's Market, U5 Food Store, U.S. Deli Market, clerks of the stores sold tobacco products to an underage MSP Explorer. The clerks from those establishments; 50-year-old Wendy Norene of Cambridge, 25-year-old Pritiben Patel of Easton, 22-year-old Anjolina Ross of Trappe, and 48-year-old Muhmmad Ullaha, of Easton, were arrested and charged with selling tobacco products to a minor.
Police say they attempted several other underage tobacco buys at Fairbanks and Tackle, Tilghman Country Store, Sunoco, Highs in Trappe, Grauls ACME St. St. Michaels and Easton, Food Lion, Rite Aid, Valero, Lowest Price, Express Market, 7-11, Doc's Quick Shop and Vapor Alley and those stores were all in compliance.
