SALISBURY, Md. - An accused murder suspect will be on the stand on Tuesday, during day two of his trial.

Eddie Savage Jr., the man accused of killing Kenneth Sparks over the summer in Delmar, took the stand Tuesday morning, shortly before the court broke for lunch. While on the stand, he recapped his version of the July 5th, 2013, events. Savage returned to the stand after the recess, to be cross examined by the Prosecution.

Also on the stand today was a neuropsychologist, who assessed Savage's intelligence and decision making ability. That doctor said that after four hours of testing, they felt Savage had a low average IQ, high anxiety, and mildly impaired ability to solve a problem, when the only direction was someone telling him whether or not the outcome is correct.

WMDT's Jarred Hill is in court, and will have all the details tonight on WMDT 47 News at 6 PM.
