Easton Hunting Campsite Fire Under Investigation

EASTON, Md. - A Sunday evening fire at a campsite in Easton, is under investigation.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office says the blaze started just after 6:45 PM, on Rigby Lot Road, where two travel trailers were set up as a hunting camp. The fire reportedly took 20 firefighters from St. Michaels and Easton Fire Departments, 30 minutes to control.

No injuries were reported and damages are estimated at $7,500. Officials say the fire was discovered by a passerby, and started in the back of one of the travel trailers. The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
