MILLSBORO, Del. - Delaware State Police say they have arrested three men after the culmination of a several week investigation into illegal drug sales from a Millsboro home.

According to reports, detectives from Troop 4 Property Crimes and Sussex County Governor's Task Force (GTF) responded to the 31000 block of Collins Court in Atkins Acres Friday morning to conduct a search warrant after their investigation revealed John C. Woodward was trading stolen property in exchange for drugs out of his residence. Information that Jason L. Davis and Eric H. Magee were staying at the residence was also reportedly established and the two had warrants out of Troop 4 for various other crimes.

Upon the troopers arrival, John Woodward was reportedly taken into custody in the driveway without incident. Police say Eric Magee was seen standing in the doorway to the residence, but quickly entered inside when he saw the troopers approach.  He was reportedly taken into custody shortly thereafter in the living room. While conducting a search of the house, Jason Davis was reportedly located hiding in a bedroom closet. When troopers attempted to take him into custody, police say he resisted by attempting to re-enter the closet before he was physically subdued without further incident. Upon searching the area of the closet, a fully loaded .44 Magnum revolver was reportedly located partially hidden under some clothes.  Detectives say they completed the search warrant and located 456 bags of heroin weighing approximately 6.84 grams, over $500.00 in suspected drug proceeds, along with numerous syringes and other drug paraphernalia.

Reports say all three were transported to Troop 4 in Georgetown where they were processed on a number of charges. Jason Davis was reportedly arrested on two additional charges of Terroristic Threatening stemming from a January 5th incident in Georgetown and Eric Magee was additionally charged with Conspiracy 3rd, Theft, and Criminal Trespass 3rd from a December 24, 2013 incident. The three subjects were allegedly arraigned at JP2 and committed to SCI.
