Wife Testifies Against Melvin Morse In DE Waterboarding Trial

Posted: Updated:

GEORGETOWN, Del. - The wife of the man accused of waterboarding his stepdaughter testified against her husband.

Pauline Morse said in court on Thursday that she once walked into the kitchen, where Melvin Morse had the now 12-year-old victim's head under the faucet. Morse's defense has claimed the man was washing her hair.

But his wife doesn't believe him, because she never saw him use soap.

Pauline Morse pleaded guilty last May to misdemeanor endangerment charges and agreed to testify against the pediatrician.

Melvin Morse faces endangerment and assault charges.
