New data sync capability allows dental practices to automatically remind patients of appointments and collect confirmations using write-back functionality.
LEHI, Utah, Feb. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Solutionreach, Inc. and Curve Dental, Inc. announced a partnership today that allows their cloud-based software programs to sync information bi-directionally, providing dental practices using the platforms with amplified efficiency for their office while communicating with their patients more effectively.
The cloud-based practice management system, Curve Hero, is a system used by dental practices to manage the office, from scheduling and billing to clinical charting and digital imaging. Solutionreach is an online platform of solutions to help dentists engage more effectively with their patients, with tools to automate things like email and text appointment reminders, patient surveys, patient newsletters, and many other methods of patient outreach. The two-way integration has dramatic benefits for dental practices that use the systems.
The ability to automatically sync with a secure connection gives Solutionreach access to the information needed to automate the patient communication, without waiting for office staff to manually copy the information from Curve Hero into Solutionreach. As office processes occur throughout the day and information changes within one program, write-back functionality will eliminate the need for practice staff to manually update the other database.
For example, as Solutionreach collects appointment confirmations when patients respond to the automated patient reminders, the information is stored within the Solutionreach platform. During the same time frame, the front desk staff is constantly adding or changing schedule or patient data within the Curve Hero software. When the next scheduled sync occurs that day, the confirmations will automatically be written to Curve Hero, and updates to patient and schedule information will be updated within Solutionreach.
"We are excited to provide this secure connection for practices using our platform and the Curve Hero software," says Jim Higgins, Founder and CEO of Solutionreach. "Creating connected practice-patient relationships is one of the ways we strive to meet our goal of facilitating total patient engagement for dental practices."
Solutionreach customers have unlimited access to live client success representatives who will walk practices using Curve Hero through the simple integration process, after which the sync frequency can be customized to best meet their individual needs.
"We are pleased to offer our customers a seamless link between their practice information and Solutionreach," said Ian Zipursky, President and COO of Curve Dental. "Solutionreach offers a wide array of services that can help our customers build a healthy, growing practice through automated appointment reminders and practice marketing solutions. One of our strengths as a cloud-based system is providing our customers with a broad selection of integrated products and services beneficial to their practices."
