Easton Man Arrested For Selling Crack Cocaine

EASTON, Md. - The Easton Police Department's Narcotics Unit says they arrested two people for a drug exchange.

According to reports, the unit was conducting surveillance in the area of South Lane in Easton, MD, when detectives observed Joseph Smith, of Easton, 33, selling Vickie Greene, 52, of Easton, crack cocaine.  Detectives say they arrested Greene and recovered the crack cocaine, then arrested Smith and recovered $330.00 in U.S. currency. 

Police say Smith was charged with distribution of crack cocaine and possession of crack cocaine, and Greene was charged with possession of crack cocaine.  Smith was reportedly taken before a District Court Commissioner and held on $25,000.00 bond, and Greene was taken before a District Court Commissioner and released on her own recognizance.
