WORCESTER CO., Md. - Maryland State Police say they arrested a man for marijuana this morning.
According to reports, around 8:30 AM, the a trooper with the Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack observed a black 2000 Mercedes sedan traveling southbound 113 at route 50. The trooper reportedly observed that the diver, Cliff Menardi, 27, of Pastoria, New York, had earphones in while operating the car.
The trooper reportedly initiated a traffic stop and immediately smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a plastic baggie containing 5.43 grams of marijuana.
Police say Mr. Menardi was subsequently charged on a criminal citation, processed at the MSP Berlin Barrack and released.
