MSP Investigate Alcohol-Related Crash In Worcester Co.

WORCESTER CO., Md. - Maryland State Police say they responded to an alcohol-related collision early this morning.

According to reports, at around 2:51 AM, a 17-year-old male was driving a 2002 Honda Civic northbound on US Route 113 in the area of Georgetown Road when he failed to maintain control of the vehicle.  Police say  the vehicle left the roadway and struck a roadside ditch.  Upon the arrival of troopers, it was reportedly determined the juvenile was not injured, but under the influence of alcohol. 

Police say the juvenile was arrested and transported to the MSP Berlin Barrack where he was processed and submitted to an intoximeter test yielding a result of 0.15.  He was reportedly released to his father.
