HURLOCK, Md. - A Cordova man was arrested, after he pulled out a firearm during an argument in Hurlock.

The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office says on January 19th, 33-year-old Michael Thomas Jr., arrived at a Bobtown Road home, got into an argument with the female resident, and reportedly pointed a handgun at her head when she tried to leave.

Police say she was able to get away, and wait until the deputies arrived, but once they did, Thomas was gone. He reportedly returned a short time later and was arrested, and charged with 1st and 2nd degree assault, reckless endangerment, and wearing and carrying a handgun.

Thomas is being held on $10,000 bond. The handgun was not recovered, and the victim was not harmed during the incident, according to Police.
