Structure Fire In Caroline Co. Causes Over 100K In Damages

DENTON, Md. - A fire at a two story wood frame single family home in Caroline County causes an estimated $120,000 in damages.

According to the State Fire Marshal, the fire broke out on the 100 block of South 5th Street.  It took 24 firefighters 25 minutes to control the flames. Investigators say the smoke alarms in the building were properly functioning, and the cause and origin of the fire is still being determined.
