Worcester County Sheriff's Office Investigates Crash

WORCESTER CO., Md. - The Worcester County Sheriff's Office says they are investigating a crash on Meadow Bridge where a vehicle overturned.

According to reports, a red Ford Explorer, driven by Mr. Richard Potts of 62, of the Princess Anne area, crashed into the Worcester County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle. Deputies say it then subsequently struck the tow truck driver Robert Webber, 42, of the Princess Anne area. Mr. Webber was reportedly transported to PRMC in Salisbury for non life-threatening injuries sustained in the crash. The Deputy was allegedly not injured.

The investigation in continuing and charges are still reportedly pending against Mr. Potts.
