Lower Shore Health Insurance Assistance Program Hosts February Outreach Events

DELMARVA - A local group is hosting many events throughout the month of February to help Delmarva residents learn more about the health care programs available to them.

The Lower Shore Health Insurance Assistance Program is continuing to educate uninsured residents of Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties, with a slew of events across the area.

At the following events staff will be on hand to help enroll the public in Maryland's health insurance exchange, and provide outreach for the local consumer assistance program.

· Saturday, February 1: Wicomico County Library Main Branch, 11 AM - 1 PM
· Monday, February 3: Riverside Pharmacy in Salisbury, 8 AM to Noon
· Monday, February 3: Milford Street Pharmacy in Salisbury, 1 - 5 PM
· Monday, February 3: Sojourner-Douglass College, 5 - 7 PM
· Tuesday, February 4: Berlin Rite Aid, 10 AM - 5 PM
· Tuesday, February 4: Ocean City Rite Aid, 10 AM - 5 PM
· Tuesday, February 4: Pocomoke Rite Aid, 10 AM - 5 PM
· Thursday, February 6: Pittsville Library, 5 - 7 PM
· Thursday, February 6: Wicomico County Library Main Branch, 5 - 7 PM
