UPDATE: Bradley Appealing Life Sentences

DELAWARE - Convicted rapist Earl Bradley is again appealing his 14 life sentences.

This time, claiming two public defenders failed him. The appeal came this week, stating former defenders Robert Goff and Dean Johnson failed to challenge a Superior Court judge's consideration of evidence that was not in police's search warrant.

Also, the appeal says the state deprived Bradley of his right to choice of counsel. More than two years ago, Bradley was convicted of sexually abusing more than eighty patients, most of them toddlers.

WMDT reached out to attorney general Beau Biden's office for comment, which emailed the following statement:

"Earl Bradley's suppression issues were fully and vigorously litigated and rejected by the Superior Court, which then heard the evidence against Bradley and convicted him on all counts.  The Supreme Court clearly affirmed the Superior Court's decision on the suppression issues and upheld Bradley's convictions and sentence."

We're told the state anticipates filing its response by May 30th.
