Staying Warm: Worcester Co. Rec Center, Libraries Open Doors

WORCESTER CO., Md. - As temperatures continue to drop across Delmarva, Worcester County Emergency Services is keeping open their recreational center and libraries.

All five branch libraries, located in Ocean City, Ocean Pines, Berlin, Snow Hill, and Pocomoke, will be open until 5 PM on Wednesday. For a schedule of operating hours at each branch throughout the remainder of the week, you can contact the Worcester County Library at (410) 632-2600 or visit www.worcesterlibrary.org.

Also, the Worcester County Recreation Center will be open until 4:30 PM. Worcester County officials say residents are invited to walk on the four-lane competitive track or relax on their retractable bleachers, which can comfortably accommodate up to 520 people.
