BIVALVE, Md. - Two Salisbury men are behind bars, after allegedly stealing a tub from an abandoned building.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says on Sunday, just before 7:30 AM, they got a call for a theft in progress on Nanticoke Road in Bivalve. When Deputies arrived at the home in the 20700 block, they found two men in a truck that was stuck in the mud, on the property of an abandoned building.

An investigation showed that 54-year-old Paul Green, and 53-year-old James Wright had loaded an old cast iron tub into the back of the truck, and then got stuck in the drive way. Police say the two tried using boards ripped from the abandoned building as traction, but it didn't work, and were still stuck when the Deputy arrived.

Both Green and Wright were charged with theft over $1,000, conspiracy, malicious destruction of property, and trespassing. They are each are being held on $25,000 bond, at the Detention Center.
