EASTON, Md. - Easton Police report that the town is now under "Snow Emergency Phase I."
This means, all vehicles on the road, traveling in the town, must be equipped with chains or tires permitted by the state for use during snow emergencies. Residents are also advised only to drive if absolutely necessary.
Police also remind residents to park in their driveways to make roadways accessible for plowing. While shoveling out, residents are not permitted to shovel show back on to any street or roadway.
Lastly, Easton Police ask that residents check on their neighbors, especially seniors and those who may need special attention.
