Henderson Woman Arrested For Drug-Related Charges In Easton

EASTON, Md. -  The Easton Police Department says they arrested a Henderson woman for drug-related charges yesterday.

According to reports, Easton Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of Route 50 near Golsborough Street. Upon making contact with the vehicle and the occupants, police say they noticed that the subjects in the vehicle were acting in a suspicious manner. Police say a K-9 scan was conducted on the vehicle and a small amount of suspected Marijuana was found on one of the occupants in the vehicle, Kendall Barnes, 19, of Goldsboro Road in Henderson, Maryland.

Police say Barnes was taken into custody and transported to the Easton Police Department to be processed. She was reportedly formally charged on a criminal citation with one count of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana). She was reportedly released on her signature to the citation pending trial in this matter.
