Former Del. Political Candidate Released From Home Confinement

GEORGETOWN, Del. - A Former Delaware state Senate candidate, accused of molesting a boy over twenty years ago is free to leave his home.

After five months, a home confinement order was lifted for Eric Bodenweiser earlier this week on the condition that he is monitored by GPS.

This, at the request of the defense at a hearing on Wednesday.

Bodenweiser was arrested in October of 2012 on 39 charges of first-degree unlawful sexual intercourse, and 74 charges of second-degree unlawful sexual contact.

The victim, a Florida resident now in his 30s, was allegedly molested when he was between the ages of 10 and 13.
