UPDATE: Salisbury Apartment Fire Rule Accidental

SALISBURY, Md. - An apartment fire in Salisbury, has been ruled accidental.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal says the fire started in a bedroom of the 516 Alabama Avenue home, around 11:20 AM, on Wednesday.

The blaze, which was discovered by the occupant, reportedly took 20 Salisbury firefighters, 15 minutes to control. Total damages are estimated at $11,000. No one was injured during the incident.

Officials say the fire was started by a faulty extension cord, and the cause has been ruled as accidental.
