Seaford Man Arrested On Drug Charges

SEAFORD, Del. - A Seaford man is behind bars after Police reportedly found him selling drugs in an apartment complex.

Delaware State Police say on Monday, Troopers assigned to the Governor's Task Force got word about 20-year-old Shaquil Turnage selling drugs in the Colonial Garden Apartments area, on Porter Street in Seaford.

The Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team say they set up surveillance, and took Turnage into custody in the complex parking lot around 5:00 PM. Turnage was in possession of 86 bags of heroin totaling 1.29 grams, .5 grams of marijuana, and other paraphernalia, according to the report. Troopers say they also recovered a .45 caliber pistol, at his home in Seaford.

Turnage was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, receiving a stolen firearm, possession of marijuana, and 2 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $6,000 bond.
