Delmar Man Succumbs To Pancreatic Cancer

Posted: Updated:

DELMAR, Md. - We here at WMDT are sad to say that Chris Gibson, the Delmar father and husband battling a severe cancer, passed away on Thursday.

In November, we first brought you Chris's story of his more than a year-and-a-half fight with pancreatic cancer. Chris and his wife Sher told our reporters about his bucket list to set out across the country.

He completed some of his list, making his way to Florida for Spring Break and going to Las Vegas for last year's SEMA Auto Show. His wife tells us they started a non-profit called "Cancer Sucks" to help other families battling with the disease.

Chris Gibson was 37.
