MS Patient Receives Free Ramp, Returns Home For Good

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Tyler Building Company made it possible for a multiple sclerosis patient to return home.

Linda Carlton, a mother of five children, was diagnosed with the disease about 15 years ago. After more than two months of rehab earlier this year, she found out she was unable to come home due to difficulties with getting up her steps.

To help with that, the Salisbury-based company donated their resources and labor to build her an ADA compliant ramp completely free.

"When I came home, it made me cry," says Linda Carlton. "When I came down that street and saw that ramp coming out of my house I just thanked god."

Tyler Building Company says they have done the Jingle Bell Ramp Giveaway for the past three years, and they plan to continue the giveaway in the future. For more information, visit their website.
