EASTON, Md. - The Easton Police Department says they arrested a man for driving under the influence yesterday.
According to reports, at about 2:49 AM, Easton Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Sunoco on westbound route 50. Police say the traffic stop was originally for failing to drive within a single lane and abrupt lane changes. However, after further investigation, officers say they found that Christopher Colburn, 44, of Oxford, Maryland, was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Police say Colburn was placed under arrest and charged with driving under the influence, driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated pe se, fail to display registration card, negligent driving, and fail to drive right of center. Colburn was reportedly released upon his signature of the charging documents.
