EASTON, Md. - Easton Police are searching for a suspect in an attempted robbery of the 7-11 store on N. Washington Street.

It happened just after midnight on January 4. Police say a black male came in to the store wearing a mask and a maroon sweatshirt with "Oklahoma" across the front. He is described as about six feet tall with a stocky build.

He was carrying a blue bag and demanded money from the clerk, who was unable to open the register. The suspect ran out of the store without any cash.

No one was injured during the crime, and the investigation is ongoing. Police urge anyone with information to come forward, saying information will be kept anonymously.
