Salisbury Woman Charged In Connection With Pond Ave. Arson

SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury woman is accused of setting fire to a Salisbury home, that she was renting.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office says they have charged 54-year-old Donna Price, after she reportedly intentionally set fire to a home she was renting on Pond Avenue in Salisbury. Price was charged with 1st and 2nd degree arson, and 2 counts of malicious destruction of property.

Crews reported to the one alarm blaze at around 7:45 AM on December 26th. The blaze reportedly took 22 firefighters from Salisbury Fire Department an hour to control. Damages are estimated to total $65,000. The property was reportedly managed by the Parsons Group.

Price is being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center. Officials say they have not determined a motive for the fire, at this time.
