WICOMICO CO., Md. - Two people died on New Year's Eve after a crash in the area of Route 50 and Woodyard Road in Wicomico County.

According to reports, Maryland State Police responded to the scene of the crash on Tuesday around 8:00 PM. Police say an investigation revealed that a driver of a Buick, Robert Dickinson, did not yield right of way and crossed Westbound Rt. 50, right into the path of a Ford E-350, causing a collision.

Reports say both Dickerson and the passenger, Sarah Dickerson, of Salisbury, Maryland, died in the crash. The driver of the Ford 3-350, Wilquin Matos, and the 17-year-old passenger were not injured.

Drugs and alcohol are reportedly not a factor in the collision and Police say there are no charges pending against the driver of the Ford E-350, who is described as a 40-year-old white male from Salisbury.

Police say the Maryland State Police Collision Reconstructionists have assumed the investigation.
