UPDATE: Name Of Man Killed In Princess Anne Industrial Accident Released

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - A Princess Anne man died on Monday, during an industrial accident in Somerset County.

Maryland State Police - Princess Anne say they were called to the scene of an industrial accident involving a dump truck near Cedar Drive in Princess Anne. According to the report, around 1:50 PM on Monday, 73-year-old Kenneth Beasley was found inside of a dump truck in a ditch, partially submerged.

Officials say that Beasley was pulled out of the vehicle by co-workers, and EMS were contacted. Princess Anne Fire Department/EMS along with Salisbury Rescue responded, but Beasley was ultimately flown to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Beasley's remains have been transported to the Chief Medical Examiner's Office in Baltimore, Maryland for an autopsy. The Mine Safety and Health Administration and OSHA are assisting in the investigation.
