BERLIN, Md. - Three New York men were arrested during a traffic stop in Berlin on Friday, after Police say they found bath salts and cocaine in the vehicle.

Maryland State Police Berlin says around 7:50 AM on Route 113, near Route 575, a Trooper stopped a Ford Explorer for speeding. A K-9 unit was brought in to scan, after the Troopers say they found several criminal indicators.

The K-9 alerted for the presence of narcotics, so Troopers search, and say they found a zip-lock baggie with 9 capsules of off white powder, suspected to be methamphetamine/bath salts, another baggie containing a white powdery substance suspected to be cocaine, and a plastic baggie with 58 unused capsules.

All three occupants of the vehicle, the driver, Andrew Monteverde, and two passengers, Michael Mignone, and Peter Vetrone, all of New York, were arrested. $1186 in cash was seized during the arrested, and was suspected to be proceeds from drug sales. All three men are being held at the Worcester County Detention Center on $25,000 bond, each.

The estimated street value for resale of the "bath salts" is approximately $800- $1000 and the estimated street value for resale of the Cocaine is $400-$500.
