Proficient Pooches Put On Agility Show

Posted: Updated:

FRUITLAND, Md. - Crown Sports in Salisbury went to the dogs, as the Salisbury Maryland Kennel Club held day two of its Agility Trials.

About 200 dogs and their owners are participating in the three day competition.  While many of the people at the trials are somehow involved, organizers encourage the public to come and watch.

"A lot of times we've had people come and watch and say 'could my dog do that?' and so they'll come and join our classes and we've got several people actually competing this week who started that way," says Diane Spalding, Agility Trial Chair for the Salisbury Maryland Kennel Club.

If you want to check out the Agility Trials, Monday is the last day.  The event is scheduled to go from 8 AM until 4:30, at Crown Sports in Fruitland.
