Salisbury House Fire Under Investigation

SALISBURY, Md. - A Thursday morning house fire in Salisbury, is under investigation.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office says the fire started in a second floor bedroom of the Pond Avenue home, around 7:45 PM. The blaze, which was discovered by a passerby, took 22 Salisbury firefighters just under an hour to control.

Damages are estimated at totaling $65,000. Officials are still investigating the cause at this time. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Salisbury Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office at 410-713-3780.
