Troopers Respond To Reports Of Overturned Tractor Trailer In Greensboro

Posted: Updated:

GREENSBORO, Md. - On Monday, Troopers responded to reports of a overturned tractor trailer at Greensboro Road, South of Union Road, around 11:55AM.

Officers say they observed the vehicle in a ditch, laying on it's passenger side. An investigation revealed that the tractor trailer, loaded with farm equipment, struck three power poles. One pole was destroyed while the other two had minor damage. As a result of the damage to the pole and down wires, Greensboro Road was temporarily closed until crews could clear the scene.

The driver, 33-year-old Dwayne Oswald of Hamburg, Pennsylvania refused medical attention and suffered no life threatening injuries as a result of the accident. He has been charged with Negligent Driving.
