DELMARVA - Just days before Christmas, and people are scrambling, trying to get in their last minute shopping.
According to the national Retail Federation, the final two weeks of the year account for as much as 30 percent of holiday season sales, and with many people hitting the outlet malls, in search of designer discounts, WMDT asked a finance expert what people should be looking out for.
Tylor Clagget Jr., a finance professor at Salisbury University says "the customer that's really trying to get a better deal, should do some comparative shopping to see. Just because it's an outlet doesn't mean the price is in fact lower."
One place to find some of the biggest discounts? On the sales racks, usually tucked away toward the back of the outlet stores.
