Salisbury Man Arrested On Drug And Weapons Charges

SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man is behind bars after Police say they found drugs in his apartment. Salisbury Police say on Tuesday around 11;15 PM, they responded to an apartment on E. William Street, for reports of drug activity.

An investigation reportedly revealed crack cocaine, heroin, and tablets of hydrocodone, along with a rifle, inside of the apartment. Police say 39-year-old Anthony Jones was prohibited from possessing a firearm because of a prior conviction.

Jones was arrested, and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of hydrocodone, and possession of a firearm with a felony conviction. He was later released to the custody of Central Booking.
