TYASKIN, Md. - A Tyaskin man is behind bars, after allegedly threatening a person who was repossessing his vehicle.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says on Friday just after 3:00 PM, a deputy met with a man who said he was repossessing a vehicle on Mezick Road, when the owner, 51-year-old William Jenkins, came out, carrying a shotgun, and told the individual to get away from the vehicle.

According to the report, Jenkins pointed the gun at the repo-man, while threatening to kill him. Police say the victim reportedly left, but was followed by Jenkins, who kept pointing the shotgun at him.

The Deputy arrested Jenkins, and charged him with 1st and 2nd degree assault, along with reckless endangerment. He is now being held at the Detention Center on $50,000 bond.
